My wellbieng is frequently on my mind. The choices I make, my actions, my leisure time and so on. If I could rate my physical wellbeing on a scale of 1:10, I would choose a 7 currently. I eat well, I could be considered even over nourished. I love food, and I consider myself a moderately healthy eater, however, I do not discriminate as much as I should. I still love fast food and sweets (in moderation of course) My physical activity is also moderate. I work in a four story hospital in which I have to be very dynamic with my location. I walk my dog when the weather is nice, less than 100 degrees at 6PM. A girl has to have her limits. My spiritual wellbeing is a 9. I don't beat to the same drum when it comes to spirituality however, I am a very faithful person and am confident in my spirituality. Psychological well being fluctuates greatly. Today I am an 8, a little stressed about my deadlines, but mentally in a good place. A few days ago when hell broke loose within the family I was a 4, grasping at all the shreds of self control I could find. I am an emotional being and I have learned to embrace my dark as well as my light because it helps me stay balanced.
My physical goal is to maintain a yoga practice at least 3 times a week
My spiritual goal is to continue to practice my daily mantras as well as implement ones suitable for my family.
My psychological goal...hehehe... I want to improve my vocal ability to say no, I don't agree or I wont do it. I want to learn how to prevent people from walking all over me.
I love to do yoga, but my husband has expressed interest in Tai Chi. We have been talking about a practice together and I will be open.
I liked The Crime of the Century. It is a chakra opener! How fabulous! Of all things I have felt that I needed, this was it. I am a level 1 Reiki student, and I know how to do this for myself, but haven't done it for a while. I am stuck shut in my heart chakra, and will need to work on this one. I have love and feel love, but am also guarded. This has been helpful because I am able to tune in and even fine tune areas I have identified for my well being
Hi Jenifer,
ReplyDeleteGreat post! This blogging thing is very new to me so hopefully this comment gets to you :) I enjoyed reading about your self-evaluations. You seem to have a good grasp and awareness of yourself. I agree that psychologically it is only natural to go up and down based on the day and stress levels. It is great that you work diligently on your physical state of health. You seem to be in tune with all areas and this will only help you achieve your goals in the future.
Thanks for your comments!
